Training

Training is an extremely important part of a warrior's life. It is used to increase and maintain great strength. Increased power can come from many different sources such as weights, gravity rooms, and sparring. Schools of Technique

Schools of technique reflect extensive training in one area. They are the epitome of human martial arts. After training at one school of technique, a character may choose to train at another school to learn the new techniques. However the attribute bonuses will be divided by 5. This is because the character has already become very strong from his original school. Other Races Training in Martial Arts Schools

Other races are already stronger than humans. Because of their higher class, they will receive no attribute bonuses. The character can train at the school and learn techniques, but cannot choose a new power for their next level. Also the character must be at least a level three character to train. Note that Martial Arts schools are used to give humans a slight edge over physically superior races like Saiyans and Nameks. The GM can decide altogether that schools are off limits to non-human and non-triclops.

Tsurennin- the Crane School

Here are the basic techniques learned at the school.1. Discharge: Gives the character the ability to discharge ki and balls of energy. The balls inflict 1d10 damage per 5 ki spent. A character can never use more than 25x his level in ki.2. Dodonpa: starts 2d6x10 and costs 30 ki. The Dodonpa gains 1d6x10 damage each level. 3. Taiyoken: costs 20 ki, and blinds anyone who doesn't close his eyes for two actions. After the first time the characters get to roll a saving throw versus the Taiyoken. Greater than 12 means they closed their eyes in time. 4. Shin-Kikoha: this is the most powerful blast of the Tsurennin school. This attack uses 15 stamina points and 45 ki. It inflicts 3d6x10 +1d6x10 damage per level. If the character keeps using it and drops below 0 stamina points, they have a 50% chance of dying. 5. Multi Punch: 1d6 punches, only usable once per melee. 6. Split Form: Takes one action to perform and makes two identical fighters. First divide all attributes by 4, and then add that to half the regular attribute. For example: Majin X has a STR of 60. Divide 60 by 4=15, then add it to half of 60 which=45. So the two identical warriors have a STR of 45 each. Divide ki and HP by 2. When the fighters lose half of their HP they will recombine, and no exceptions. Combine all the damage taken and subtract it from the starting HP (before split), and the same goes for ki. Melee attacks are divided by two.7. Minor ESP: allows the character to communicate through his mind with other people at the cost of 5 ki per minute. Attribute bonuses: +10 MNT, +10 STR, +10 DEX, +10 STM, and +8 SPD for a Martial Artist.

Kamesennin- the Turtle School

Here are the basic techniques learned at the school.1. Discharge: Gives the character the ability to discharge ki and balls of energy. The balls inflict 1d10 damage per 5 ki spent. A character can never use more than 25x his level in ki.2. Zanzoken: This lets the user move so fast that he leaves an after image. This will allow the character to attack from a different spot while the enemy is confused. For every 15 points of SPD the character has he leaves one after image. Each after image costs 5 ki. For every after image created, the character gets +1 to strike. This can also be used while dodging, having the same effect, but adding the bonus to dodging. This technique costs 3 STM points. 3. KameHameHa: 1d6x10 MD +1d6x10 per level ki: 304. Multi Punch: 1d6 punches, only usable once per melee.5. Combat Teleport: This allows character to move extremely fast for a short period of time. It is not an actual teleport. They can only teleport within their line of sight and it does not use an action. Make dodge roll. If they fail they can try to use normal dodge. Costs 10 ki and must have SPD 25+.Attribute bonuses: +10 MNT, +10 STR, +8 DEX, +8 STM, and +10 SPD for a Martial Artist.

Wolf School

Here are the basic techniques learned at the school.1. Wolf Wind Attack: This move summons the characters primal instincts and combines multiple claw punches and a double claw strike to seriously injure the opponent and throw him off guard. +3 to strike, does 1d6 punches, +1 double claw strike which inflicts 4d6 damage, and if successful, it makes the defender lose one action for that round, or if none remain, one for the next round plus initiative. This costs 10 ki to use. After five levels of using this technique, the attack does and extra 1d6 punches. This can only be used twice per combat.2. Soukidan: This creates a ball of energy that is easily controlled by a series of hand movements by the creator. The ball does 2d6x10 damage, +1d6x10 every two levels, is +4 to strike, and costs 25 ki. If the initial attack misses, the character can use another action to guide it back towards its original target. This costs one action and 10 chi.
3. Discharge: This teaches the character the ability to discharge chi as balls of energy. The balls inflict 1d10 HP per 5 ki spent. He can never use more than 25x his level.4. Multi Punch: 1d6 punches, only usable once per melee.5. Combat Teleport: This allows character to move extremely fast for a short period of time. It is not an actual teleport. They can only teleport within their line of sight and it does not use an action. Make dodge roll. If they fail they can try to use normal dodge. Costs 10 ki and must have SPD 25+.6. Flight: This teaches the character to use their chi to control their body's movement to fly. The character can fly up to 250 mph and costs 5 ki per hour.Attribute Bonus: +8 MNT, +10 STR, +10 DEX, +8 STM, and +10 SPD.

Kaio School

This is not the conventional Martial Arts school. This school is based on a small planetoid in the after life. It is at the end of snake way, and extremely long winding pathway thousands of miles long. Unlike other schools, bonuses are not to be divided by 5 if the student has attended another school of training. After training at the Kaio School, the character receives +1 to strike and dodge in combat with all types of attacks and dodges.

The techniques at this school are not always taught. Only 10% of the students will be taught the techniques.

Kaioken: This increases the characters speed, strength, and ki for a short period of time at the cost of physical endurance. For each level of the Kaioken it costs 1 STM point and gives +2 to strike, or dodge, +10 STR and +50 Ki. The Kaioken's level can only be 2x the character's level (a level 2 character can only do a Kaioken X4). So a Kaioken X3 will give a character +6 to strike and dodge, +150ki and it will cost 3 STM points. Note that the bonuses only last for one action, and must be continuously renewed after each attack.

Genki Dama: This technique creates probably the strongest known Ki attack. It draws energy from nature and if people are willing, it will draw people's ki. For every action that the character gathers energy, the Genki Dama naturally gains 100 Ki from the surroundings. If people help they can donate up to 10 ki. Trained fighters can donate as much ki as the want. For every 1 ki the Genki Dama is made of, it does 1 HP of damage. So a 400 Ki Genki Dama will do 400 HP of damage. However the Genki Dama can only be used against evil or slightly evil enemies. The Genki Dama is +5 to strike for every 100 Ki it is composed of because it grows massively in size.

Attribute Bonus:MNT +8, STR +10, DEX +10, STM +10, SPD +15, Ki +50, and HP +30.

Kami's Lookout Training

Kami's training doesn't necessarily teach the characters anything new. However the characters gain 500 experience from the training and the following bonuses.

Attribute Bonus- MNT+10, STR+5, DEX+5, STM+5, HP+25, and Ki+40.

Fusion Technique: This is the most powerful technique. Simply add all attributes, HP, LP, Ki and take the average of their actions. Characters must be within 10 points of all attributes, and within at most 100 Ki and HP difference. Must be at least level 5 to be taught the technique.
Here's the problem for the characters. Here is the Fusion Skill: starting at 35% chance of success. For each time they perform fusion (successful or not) they get +2%. If fusion is not successful there is a 50% chance of them either being the fat fusion or the old fusion. In these cases divide everything by 15. Fusion lasts for 30 minutes without exception. So you had better make sure you can fuse well before fighting someone. Fusion can be learned from Dende at Kami's lookout. He will teach if you are worthy, and this is left up to the GM. Half Saiyans that fuse can go Super Saiyan 3, however this is also left up to the GM's discretion.

Jessan- Namek Training to be next Guardian of Earth Spirit. Characteristics of Slow but steady growth, his future is clear as quite possibly the most powerful Namek fighter ever born. He serves Dende, but his abberrant attitude often leads to questioning of his moral standpoint. However he is absolutely loyal to those he trusts and serves, and would never let anything stand in his way, be it action or person, should he need to defend himself or others.
Jessan was born on new namek, and he immediantly distinguished himself as vicious and unforgiving.  It was almost right after the Freeza situation,and the nameks knew that their survival would be dependant upon someone who was willing to protect their culture no matter what.  He is quick to attack, and even quicker to kill.  When Lakotah was discovered, the elders had already realized that Jessan would likely be the best person for the nameks guardian, and with more training he would be fully capable of defending namek.  Lakotah, being only half namek, was of no competition as the elders wouldnt consider it.  Jessans training was basic and rudimentary, and he quickly advanced in strength, but his ruthlessness was discovered as he showed no mercy, even in training.  The elders knew that, while his actions may be brutal, his attitude, which contradicted the normal namek mindstate, would be the key to preseving namek from enemies.  When he could no longer learn anything from the namek warriors, but was nowhere near ready to be full-fledged guardian, he was paired with Lakotah to train.  The two surprisingly took a liking to each other, despite their contradictory ways of acting.  The elders realized that Lakotah would be able to keep Jessans "shoot first, ask later" attitude in check, and that Jessan would eventually rub off on Lakotah, perhaps making Lakotah deadlier and more helpful to the destruction of evil in the galaxy.  Jessans status on Namek is well known, and he has many resources at his disposal.  While his methods may be swift and brutal and sometimes uncalled for, he is still young and learning much. 

Lakotah- Lakotah's past is an odd one, originally a Sayian child sent to annihilate a forgotten world, upon his arrival(awakening) he found his pod had embedded itself in mile thick bed rock leaving the pod door jammed shut. The youthful Sayian felt rage enveloping him, as he knew he could blast his way out with out damaging his pod and leaving him stranded. Then he saw it, a green shape hovering outside the pod window. Lakotah found himself even more frustrated, now he stuck in his pod, and the creatures he was supposed to be killing were taunting him. However to his Surprise Lakotah watched as the green Alien, called for more of its kind, which then began to pull the pod from its rocky tomb. Aghast at this turn of events, the youthful sayian immdiately opened the pod door as soon as it was freed from the rock, streaked out and powered up for an attack. When strangely a moral question occured to him, 'why did they help me?' Lakotah, landed, and examined his quarry visually, Nameks.... green skin, kind faces, plain clothes.... but why? Surely they knew he was a killer? Lakotah found himself addressed by one of the Nameks, " You question why we helped you? You are but a boy, you are too young to kill so many." Lakotah didn't know how to respond except to question more. " How do you know this?"" We know many things young Lakotah." The Namek replied, " If you are willing to learn we will teach you."Lakotah found himself living peacefully with the Nameks, tempering his anger and rage. Learning the art of meditation to improve one's powers. He found inner peace through good deeds, and generosity. But he finally found his true calling to defend when his great mentor was preparing to die. Lakotah had learned from the Nameks that the planet they were on was dying, and with it, the small Namek village would die as well, becoming one with the planet. In his final hour the Namek Elder had chosen to finally give Lakotah all of his teachings in order to ensure they would not be forgotten. The rings of Balance, an ancient Namek Treasure, to fuse to people as one, Thus Lakotah became Half Sayian Half Namek, the wisdome of the elder,, and the peace of mind of the namekian life. Lakotah eventually found himself drawn to leave his beloved second home, and traveled guided only by the beckoning of other namek life, the most intrigueing being the planet Earth. Where he currently resides, helping people every day, looking for new charitable acts, truly beign an amazing find.

Umaro- A half Breed Sayian part of a pair of genetically manipulated twins. The Psi-gen Corporation was responsible for its own destruction, procuring and manipulating Sayian DNA from all five Sayians that have visited Earth(Goku, Vejita, Nappa, Raditz, and Brolly) and then bonding it to Human DNA in a cloning experiment expected to yield the perfect human warrior. However, their plans went awry, and instead on one perfect Human/Sayian the fetus split in the gestation tube creating one Sayian with all the boons of accelerated growth genes and super strength and intelligence. And One which had the boon of being genetically stable. The more accellerated Twin was born first and after a short two month period grew into the equivalent of a physically ten year old Sayian. The twin had been using the scientists to teach him about technology while his "weaker half" matured in the gestation tube. Thus, the young Sayian promptly killed all the scientists, stole a prototype space ship and left his barely matured brother to die. It was only through the ever watchful eye of Dende, that the other twin was saved and healed and taken to the time room to mature. There the young Sayian foudn himself alone except for his master Dende, who furnished him with information about his past, his race, and what Sayians are. Dende named the young Sayian Umaro, and found he had an enormous appetite for learning, but only in the catagories that interested him. Namely advanced combat techniques and Sayian history. But luckily Dende had instilled in the Sayian a sense of logic and was able to negotiate with the youth into broadening his studies in exchange for a scouter with a comprehensive "sayian combat training program" which required mental training before physical. But sadly Dende never could teach the youth how to master the art of meditation to reach inner peace and raise his power. But after 17 days Umaro has now left the time room with Dende to see the world. He does not know yet why he was raised so quickly.(17 years in 17 days, hmmm somethings up.)

Frostilicous- (Still being told to me) here's the run down though, he's an Icer in an adroid body. His origins are from a distant humanoid empire that had found two injured Icers, one male one female. The Icers were unconcious, and the humanoids knew full and well of the power of Frieza, so they began experimenting on the two Icers, but realized if the Icers ever became aware of their situation they would kill the Humanoids. So Instead they decided to breed the two and produced a sort of biological technology in the offspring so that its power would be limited enough that they could control him. They could raise his power level if they so desired, but in effect for now they could control him and should he go out of control they wouldn't have a super powerful icer like frieza on their hands, just a guy they could "whack" and be done with. Well you know how it goes, eventually Frostilcous got free...

yeah we're still working on it, it'll be fine tuned in probablly another Day or so.

Gamatoe: (level 14 ssj3 power level= 69,999,999) the half saiyan with a human father and a saiyan mother. His mother died on a planet conquest that went sour so he was raised by his gentle father since he was an infant. When he came of age he was discovered by one of Freeza's 'recruiting' men and was forced to join Freeza's saiyan planet assault squads. His first mission was an adult troop invading a very powerful world Kjat; just before Freeza destroyed Saiya. It was basically a suicide mission, everone in his troop were slaughtered but because Gamatoe was raised as a human and lacked the saiya-jin pride he fled and survived in a saiyan capsule (the fact that he was only half saiyan removed the genetic programing Freeza had introduced) Wandering aimlessly his pod was sucked into a 'rift' and he was brought to Rifts Earth. There he met Volrath, a namek who was the devil of the post rifts Earth. At first the two fought but eventualy they became friends united to find their way home. They discovered a rift several years later that brought them to their dimension through the room of time and space. However, the world they found was over 300 years after their origonal time line. Since then Gamatoe has lived on Earth, Namek,and New Vejita. His eternal rival Cabishan has become an ally as well. Both have mastered super saiyan 3 and when they fuse to become Gamishan they become the one of the most powerfull creatures that has ever lived. He is married to a fellow half saiyan Strelle and has a 15 year old boy named Gamten and an 11 year old girl named Kiwi. They also have a 4 year old 3/4 saiyan blood boy named Celetoe. Gamatoe can become ssj3 because hewished to become a full blooded saiya-jin to defeat Cabishan when he was being controlled by BabiZ. Celetoe was born a year after he became a true saiyan

Volrath: (level 12 power level: 33,333,333) Is actualy Piccolo's brother Piano. When he was killed in the Tenkaichi Budokai he was sucked into a rift at the check out station and brought to the Rifts Earth. Without being controlled by Piccolo Daimo he gained a mind of his own. Eventualy when they got home it was Volrath who beat Cooler to defend the powerless people of the Earth. Over the 300 years the saiya-jin blood line had gotten so weak that their descendants no longer had tails at all. And the storys of Goku and his friends were mere myths. Volrath has a very long standing grudge with Coola, the two have fought on dozens of occasions with most ending in a standstill. Volrath's counterpart Gone is also the Saichero of New Namek, making Volrath in effect the father of the over 20,000 inhabidants of the planet.  Volraths direct children are Voltek (the cyber namek), Nimrath, Wrathi and each of them have children as well.

Cabishan: (level 13 ssj3 power level=59,999,999) Cabishan is a full saiyan and Gamatoe's sworn enemy (at least they used to be). Cab used to be Coola's right hand and killed Gamatoe a year before the invasion armada came to earth. However, His plan backfired when Gamatoe went and trained with king Kaio. Gamatoe came back and Coola's forces were defeated, Cabishan fled to Vejita II and later came back with a saiyan planet assault team. He brought with him Ogun, at the time was almost as strong as Cabishan himself. (Ogun is another player put he was pretty boring and just wanted to be stronger than the other characters)Cabishan and Gamatoe had to team up when they faced a super Cell jr.They got sucked into a time vortex caused by the Cell jr. of Time Cell,in the battle and went back to the Rifts world (confused yet?)Gamatoe and Cabishan had a few large battles untill they took the first Rift back. It took them to a future earth in which their future children and selves had been taken over by BabiZ. Gamatoe went to god, who had gathered the dragon balls so they wouldn't be destroyed by BabiZ and was about to wish for a Rift out of the evil dominated world. However, Future Cabishan found him and they fought. At first Cabishan utterly stomped Gamatoe, who was floundering in Super Saiyan 2.Volrath, Cabishan and Ogun joined in but even they were no match for the raging super saiyan 3 Babi-future Cabishan. Gamatoe crawled to god and wished away his humanity so he could counqer super saiyan 3. With the second he wished to be revived.Standing up Gamatoe tore through the barrier and became super saiyan 3, Cabishan had just finished off his past self (thus if he wanted his friends to be alive he couldn't wish for a portal out.) The two were exactly equal in strength but the earlier fighting took a tiny bit of Cabishan's power. Gamatoe prevailed in the titanic battle that ensued and defeated Cabishan. With the final wish he wished all of the future Cabishan's evil deeds undone. His friends were revived and unexpectadly the evil Babi disappeared. (it was Cabishan's fault for reviving Babi). They got to know their future selves for 6 months before the dragon balls became active again. With one last wish they went back to their origonal time (in a time vessel similar to a namek space ship.) to find the earth had been destroyed! With the time machine they went to 5 years earlier. Time Cell arived and destroyed the earth. They met it and fought it but found that there was no hope. Sacrificing the time machine to neutralise Time Cell's mastery of time (he would otherwise be nearly invincable because if he was losing he could shift time or simply stop it all together and kill his helpless opponents)In the ensuing battle Gamishan was born and Ogun, Volrath and half the worlds population were killed. One on one Gamishan prevailed and vanquished Time Cell. This is the end of the era of dimension hopping. With Time Cell dead,all the rifts closed. Permenently severing the two demensions. There is another era (of rampant fusion) but it would be too long to put them both in one.
